Born and raised in the small southern town of Vidalia, Georgia, Jordan grew up with the love of softball, reading, and cooking with her grandmother. As an All-State Athlete, Jordan’s determination and work ethic fueled her dream of one day becoming an attorney.

Jordan attended Mercer University and received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy before attaining her J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. While attending Law School, Jordan interned for two years with the Houston County Public Defender’s office where she gained substantial knowledge of criminal procedure and process. Additionally, Jordan served on the Mercer Advocacy Council as Chair of the Client Counseling Team. In addition to spending most of her time in the court room or classroom, Jordan managed to meet and marry the love of her life, Ian McIntyre, who was also receiving his J.D. at Mercer.

Jordan has called North Carolina home for the past five years. Prior to joining Reed & Thompson, PLLC, Jordan served the people of Cabarrus County as an Assistant District Attorney. During her 5 years as an Assistant District Attorney, she successfully tried felony cases as well as hundreds of bench trials. While serving as an ADA, Jordan conducted numerous trainings with law enforcement and cultivated a deep respect for each law enforcement agency. She has continued to support the Cabarrus County law enforcement community by serving as a member of the Concord Police Foundation Board.

When she’s not in the courtroom or meeting with clients, Jordan enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and son. Chances are, you’ll always find her with a Diet Coke or a book in her hand.

What is your favorite chick-fil-a sauce?

Chick-fil-a sauce is superior. I am a saucy girl who loves all the condiments.

Venti iced chai latte with 2% milk – no coffee for me

What is your 15 minutes of fame?

When I was 3 my red cowgirl boots were featured in Southern Living Magazine and I did a JC Penny’s ad with my family for fourth of July. I peaked at 3.

Live plants or fake plants?

Live plants stand no chance with me. My husband is in charge of keeping all our plants alive.

If you didn’t have to work, what would you do with your time?

I would be traveling non-stop.
