EMILY
Emily is an estate planning and estate administration attorney who practices in both our Concord, North Carolina and Huntington, West Virginia offices. Emily is the daughter of a retired Air Force Colonel who grew up moving all around the country. Tell her where you’re from and chances are she’s probably lived there. Emily moved to North Carolina to attend law school at Wake Forest University where she received her J.D. After 4 years in Winston-Salem, she relocated to the Charlotte area.
Emily’s husband, Travis, was born and raised in West Virginia and convinced her to open an office in Huntington so that they could split their time between North Carolina and West Virginia. Emily is excited to share her years of estate planning experience with a new group of clients in West Virginia. She is passionate about helping clients and their families through life’s toughest decisions with kindness, compassion and a little bit of humor. Who knew dying could be this fun?
When she’s not driving back and forth on the West Virginia turnpike, Emily and Travis spend their time traveling, working on home projects and preparing Henry, the office corgi, for his biggest job yet, becoming a big brother this fall.
What is your favorite chick-fil-a sauce?

Live plants or fake plants?
Live plants stand no chance with me. My husband is in charge of keeping all our plants alive.
